What aspect of Westgate excites you the most: The fact of so many lay people involved in the ministries of the church.
What or who has been a major influence on your life: My dad and Pastor Earl Freeland of Portsmouth Alliance Church in Portsmouth, VA.

Where did you go to school: Graduate of Biola University (B.A. Christian Education - Emphasis in Youth Ministry) Talbot School of Theology (Working on Masters of Divinity)
Past work and ministry experience: I've been involved in youth ministry for 16 years. Most recently the Pastor of Student Ministries at Long Beach Alliance Church 2001-2009
Favorite Teams: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, UCLA, Toledo Walleye, The Mudhens and anyone playing against the Yankees!
Anything you would like to add: I've been married to my beautiful wife Rochelle for 10 years this coming November. We have two kids, our loveable ball of energy (Garrett), and our quiet princess (Rylee).

Where did you go to school: Graduate of Crown College with a B.A. in Youth Ministry
Past work and ministry experience: For the last fourteen years I have been involved in youth ministry. I have served in churches in California, Colorado, and most recently Minnesota.
Outside interests/ hobbies: Sports, movies, any type of games, video games, anything outdoors, and most of all spending time with my awesome bride Amy, and my three incredible kids Tyson, Cassie, and Trent!
Favorite teams: Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, and Big Ten Football!
What aspect of Westgate Chapel excites you the most: The fact that Westgate is an influence in our local community, the inner city and around the world is awesome! Also knowing that there are incredible people serving selflessly in the ministries here at Westgate!
Who has been a major influence in your life: My father-in-law because he showed me what it means to love God and to love others!

Where did you go to school: Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies - Biola University Masters of Arts in Systematic Theology Talbot Seminary
Past work and ministry experiance: I worked as an intern and volunteer at Long Beach Alliance Church for the past six years with the Junior and Senior High School. I also spent three months in Cambodia in 2008 as a missionary intern with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
What aspect of Westgate excites you the most: Since I've been here, I've been really excited to see how people have a desire to grow in their relationship with God - especially in regards to tackling the deep things in the Bible.
Outside interests/hobbies:
Favorite place to eat: Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles in California
Interesting fact about you: I'm a quarter British, a quarter Polish and half Indian.
What or who have been a major influence in your life: The two most influential men in my life have been Robert Zimmermann (my youth pastor growing up), and Roy Fahringer (my mentor).
