Single Adult Ministry (SAM)
We're glad to see you're interested in this area of Westgate. Please keep coming back as we update the progress of the re-structuring of this ministry.
In the meantime, we invite all Singles to come check out one of our Sunday morning Communities. The two that will probably fit your lifestyle and needs best are both offered during the 9:00am Sunday morning slot.
The first is led by Clint and Cindy Longenecker and meets in the Family life Center, Rooms 115-116.
The 2nd is led by Mike Whipple and others and meets in the Chapel.
We believe that living in Community is essential, especially in a congregation this large. Our Communities are set up in such a way that we get to know one another, we share prayer requests, we share opinions as we learn and play together. We all come together from different walks of life, but we all share some common threads....a need to belong to something bigger than we are, a need to be a part of something that makes a difference, a need to share in such a way that our needs are known and prayed for and practically met, if possible, and a love for Christ that allows us to grow and holds us together.
