Single Adult Ministry (SAM)
The Single Adult Ministry of Westgate Chapel exists to assist single adults in growing spiritually, developing caring relationships, and putting their faith into practice. We seek to accomplish our mission via our regular monthly gatherings, as well as and our special social activities.
The United States has a large population of singles who are in many different situations: college-age to 50+, single parents, those experiencing or recovering from divorce, and many other scenarios. Unfortunately, this
segment of our society has been underserved by the church as a whole. We invite you to join us so you can experience positive outlets for building friendships and growing in your faith.
50+ Join us in a small group designed for singles aged 50+ that desire to meet and fellowship with other singles. We enjoy eating together and having a devotional time in which we share needs and praises. There are times that we have special music programs or speakers, and there is often a fun time with table games or just chatting. Meetings are held the 2nd Friday of each month at 6:30 at Bill and Carol Schumaker's home...and they always include having dinner together!
