Being on mission with God is the heartbeat of Westgate Chapel. We are becoming fully committed Christ followers as we grow together. And Jesus is always leading us outside the building. For us that means missions isn’t a program, it’s a lifestyle. We are living out His mission in our community, our region, and the world.

We invite you to take a few minutes and see how God is impacting our world - both locally and globally - through the Westgate Chapel family.

Connect Class

CONNECT is the educational arm of ChapelConnection. During this class, we identify the following:

  • Your walk, which motivates you to serve
  • Your top 3 spiritual gifts, which enable you to serve
  • Your personal style, which expresses itself in serving
  • Your experiences, which help to develop you for serving
  • Your "hot button", which gives focus to your serving

    • Once you've completed this class, you'll set up an appointment with one of our specially trained consultants. That person will help you put these five pieces together to determine areas of ministry in which you might be interested. Once those are identified, they'll put you in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator of that ministry who will arrange a "Connecting Point" so you can observe and see if you'd like to pursue that area further. Our commitment to you is to walk you through the process until you find a place that will result in your being fruitful and fulfilled and God being glorified!     Prayer Chain

    One of the greatest privileges we have is that of praying for one another. This is an opportunity to "stand in the gap" for those of our Westgate family and beyond who are in need of prayer. This Prayer Chain consists of men and women who devote themselves to prayer knowing that prayer is powerful and effective. Our mission is to provide a solid prayer base for all needs and concerns of the Westgate Chapel family.

    Serving Opportunities

    Looking for a place to "plug in" and serve? You've come to the right place. God has uniquely designed you to serve a particular role in the body of Christ. Go through the list below and see if there's anything that strikes a chord and let us know! We'll set you up to meet someone from within that ministry who will arrange a Connecting Point so you can "taste" the ministry. For more information, contact Sherry at sbenoit@westgatechapel.org

    To relieve the minds of our guests concerning their cars and/or coats, etc., we like to have a team of men who just keep a watch for any outsiders who appear not to belong. Contact Sherry at sbenoit@westgatechapel.org.

    WCafe Server
    Enjoy meeting and serving others? Then this just may be for you. The (Sunday am) Cafe is open every Sunday morning before the early service, between services and after the 10:30am service. For more information, email Heidi at hhiznay@westgatechapel.org

    WCafe Baker
    Now you can mix your love of baking with ministry. You'll use Ray's recipes, as well as be trained by him in using the appliances needed to make all those yummy concoctions. For more information, email Heidi at hhiznay@westgatechapel.org
