SafetyAll volunteers in KidVenture are screened and given background checks. Because safety is a priorty here, your child will need to be checked-in each Sunday at the KidVenture Kiosk in the Atrium . Only parents with check-out tags are allowed behind the security doors to the classrooms for babies through 3rd grade to deliver and pick-up their children. Fourth and fifth graders are also only dismissed to parents with the proper check-out tags. |
Lil Kids(Babies through age 5)You’re under five years old and the world is bursting with newness. Each day is filled with one new discovery after another. Where did that bird come from? Look, the moon is shaped funny tonight! Who thought to color the butterfly like that? First impressions with these little people are important. That’s why we want to give babies, toddlers and pre-school children a first impression of their loving Heavenly Father that they will remember. Lil Kidz uses the First Look curriculum, keeping it simple and fun with one basic truth about God repeated all month long. By the time children get to kindergarten, they will know that God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. |

KidVenture(Kindergarten through 5th grade)At KidVenture, we desire for children to enter Middle School with wisdom, faith, and friendship; knowing 150 Bible stories and have learned about 36 different virtues. Our goal is that each child is able to say and live out the following: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated. |

Beginning in April 2011, all children in kindergarten through 5th grade will be in a class with their grade level and then divided into Life Groups. Each Life Group will have a leader who will build relationships with children in a small group environment. Each Sunday morning will be divided into three sections: |
|
Catch On – This is a time when children return to their small Life Groups. It is designed to help kids understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They’ll discuss real-life experiences, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Opening Bibles, life- application, and memory verse activities, as well as prayer, are always a part of this hands-on time. |
KidVenture realizes the value of family and desires to partner with parents to raise children who Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World like Jesus. Each Sunday children will go home with resources to help the family: Fridge Door Cards, a weekly update for parents that gives them the virtue, memory verse, Bible story, the bottom line for the week, and a question for kids and parents to talk about; and God Time Cards, four weekly devotions to focus kids attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. Parents will also receive a weekly email updating them on what is being studied, KidVenture events, and Talk About It ideas. |
