FUSION FAMILY EXPERIENCE

At KidVenture, we believe what happens at home is way more important than what happens at church. That’s why at the Fusion Family Experience (Fx) we have designed an evening to help equip parents with the Word of God so that they may impress and teach Truth to their children throughout the week at home, as well as provide a fun learning environment for kids!

CHURCH FAMILY MEAL
An optional time for the WGC church family to gather together over a meal. Cost is $3 per person or a maximum of $15 per family. Families may also bring their own dinner and join in the fellowship during this time.

Family Experience (Fx)
The entire family will begin the night in the Sanctuary with an interactive program which is designed to teach both adults and children and will focus on a specific virtue each month. This virtue will be the same as the one being taught in KidVenture each Sunday.

BREAKOUTS
Following the Fx portion of the evening, kids Birth through 5th grade will participate in hands-on activity stations where they will grow in wisdom, faith & friendship while focusing on one particular Bible passage while their parents are studying the same Bible passage.

Parent Experience (Px)
The Parent Experience (Px) will be a time when parents can dive into deep application for their personal lives, marriages, parenting and the spiritual development of their children. It will be facilitated by seasoned Bible teachers who are parents facing the same triumphs and struggles as all parents.

WGC FAMILY PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Fusion Family Experience will be divided into three sessions: Fall, Winter & Spring. Parents will attend the Px for two of the three sessions. They will choose one of the sessions to travel with their children to the activity stations. This will allow parents to experience what their children are learning as well as facilitate the equipping process. Parent Involvement will also allow for a safe amount of adult supervision during activity stations for kids. Parents must indicate their preferred session of involvement on the registration form.

SCHEDULE:

  • 5:30 - 6:10 Family Dinner in the W Cafe ($3 per person / $15 family max)

  • 6:15 - 6:45 FX in the Sanctuary (Parents, kids birth - 5th grade and guests)

  • 6:45 - 7:00 Kids check in at the kiosk

  • 7:00 - 8:00 Breakouts (see options)

  • 8:00 Pick up kids: birth - 5 yrs. in their classrooms; K - 5th grade in FLC

  • FALL: September 7th through November 30th (off 11/23 for Thanksgiving)

  • WINTER: December 7th through February 29th (off 12/21, 12/28 & 1/4 for Christmas)

  • SPRING: March 7th through May 30th (off 4/4 & 4/11 for Easter)
