++Monthly Outreach and Missions Prayer++

Psalm 127:1 “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Each month we gather for one hour of prayer for all our partners, knowing that God must go before and do the work, if the work is to last. Join us each month to pray for specific requests that our partners submit. We gather on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30-7:45pm in Room 218 upstairs. Please use East Entrance to enter the building.

Thursday Kids Church Serve children or students for 2 hours on Thursday evenings, 6:30-8pm. Help share Jesus by substituting or supporting class programming. What a great way to show these kids the love of God expressed through adults that care! Quarterly/weekly/monthly opportunities.

The Toledo International Hospitality Program (TIHP) is an opportunity for Toledo individuals and families to develop a cross-cultural friendship with some international students and do something fun with them once a month for one year. Families are matched with students in August, September, and January.
The Household Items Giveaway provides furniture and household items, in the name of Jesus, to newly arriving international students from around the world. You can donate furniture or get a truck and be that first, friendly face of Jesus to these students as you help deliver furniture.

We're a volunteer-run health clinic expressing the love of Christ through free, quality healthcare to the underserved!
Ways to be involved as you pray for patients, volunteers, and supporters include:
- Events & Fundraising: Support our upcoming Open House on Sept. 30 with food or décor; plan a volunteer appreciation event; and serve on the Spring Fundraiser planning committee.
- Medical & Clinical Support: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians & Students; Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners & Nurses; Laboratory; Mental Health; and Medical & Nursing Students.
- Administrative & Office Support: Reception/Front Desk; Bookkeeper or Treasurer; IT help; and volunteer-from-home appointment scheduling.
- Facilities & Community Support: Housekeeping (cleaning and organizing); gardening to grow fresh produce for patients; distributing information about the clinic to our neighbors; and helping with our food and hygiene pantry.

Kairos Prison Ministry at Toledo Correctional is an ongoing ministry to help build and support Christian community inside the prison through weekly visits, 1-day retreats (twice a year), and 4-day weekends (twice a year).

Bake homemade cookies with your family, life group, or friends to help the Kairos team show the love of Christ to the residents at Toledo Correctional! We need between 60,000-72,000 homemade cookies! Our next Cookie drop-off will be Sunday, September 13 in the Atrium.
Important Cookie Rules:
- Pray as you bake!
- Home-baked only
- 2-3 inches in diameter
- No icing or powdered sugar allowed.
- CLEARLY LABEL if cookies contain nuts/peanut butter or are gluten-free or sugar-free
- Package 2 dozen cooled cookies in a one-gallon zip lock bag with NOTHING else in the bag.
- If cookies are made well in advance, keep them frozen.

Build relationships at a bible study There are so many of our brothers and sisters or soon-to-be brothers and sisters that have no way of having an in-person bible study unless someone comes to them. We have facilities asking us to come and bring Jesus through a bible study! If you are interested in being a part of this growing ministry, contact Randy Fall and/or Dave Hadeed.

Let’s welcome the nations that are here in our neighborhoods as international students. As a life group you can host tables together. Other opportunities to serve at the event include food prep in the kitchen, driving international students, hosting activities, registration, setting up and/or tearing down. Info to serve will be released late October.
